Found after a 17 year search!
It was during an old Oliyum Oliyum around September of 1989 that I last saw this song. Somehow the opening lines kept haunting me for several years. A few years of searching the net did not produce the desired result. I had given up all hopes of this song as it was from some unknown movie as well. I queried the webmaster of Jayachandran's website but he got back to me the next day expressing inability to help. I finally got in touch with a hardcore fan of the singer, who gave me this rare gem of a song.

Enjoy this melody in Jayachandran's pristine voice, exquisitely tuned by Sankar/Bappi Lahiri :)
